I debated over the steel or graphites and decided on graphites since I am getting older and felt the Ping G15 Irons Set would give me a little more swing speed. Also, they were $100 off the regular price.

Hi,that with a good iron set will set you up to where you have a good chance of improving.the Callaway X-20 Iron Set will be a good choice.Also you need more practice.A bad swing with blades will tell you immediately, and the precise feedback will give you a better idea of where you are going right or wrong. If you get shovels you will not really know the difference between a good shot and a bad one.
